Call for Papers – TVST Special Issue: New Methods & Advances in Ocular Pathology
Deadline: July 31, 2025
Translational Vision Science & Technology (TVST) is curating a special issue devoted to the next generation of ocular-pathology techniques. The editors welcome original research that pushes beyond conventional staining to illuminate eye disease through biomarker discovery, -omics integration, spatial transcriptomics, artificial-intelligence and deep-learning analytics, novel imaging approaches, or other innovations that improve diagnosis, prognostication, or mechanistic insight.
Submissions are peer-reviewed on a rolling basis and will appear online as soon as they are accepted, then be compiled into a dedicated issue on the TVST website. The deadline for manuscripts is 31 July 2025, and standard TVST article-processing charges will apply.

As a way to increase communication and engagement among members, Women in Ocular Oncology is planning on starting a dedicated mentorship program, which will include virtual sessions, in-person events at meetings, and one-on-one interactions.
