It is indeed an honor for me to serve you as President until our next congress. Preparations for the meeting are well under way. Thanks to Ithe efforts of Arun Singh, our host, and all the committee members.It is a pleasure to welcome you to our first newsletter. This was proposed by Carol Shields and put together by Dawn Roberts. This newsletter provides useful information about the congress, including important dates and a provisional program. We hope in future to have educational articles, news updates and contributions from all over the world.I hope that the ISOO will foster communication and collaboration between ocular oncologists and other specialists throughout the year and not only during our congress. Such exchange is particularly important in view of the small size of our specialty and the rarity of the diseases that we treat.Download the newsletter
