Membership & Presentation Guidelines
Non-Members Cannot Present: All presenters must be ISOO members in some category (Ordinary, Collaborating, or Member in Training).
Main Podium Presentations:
The presenting author can be a non-ordinary member, provided at least one co-author is an Ordinary Member.
Posters and case presentations are exempt from this requirement.
If an abstract has no Ordinary Member co-author, an exception request must include a short statement on the significance of the research to the society.

Important Deadlines
May 31, 2025: Deadline to apply for Ordinary Membership if you’d like podium rights and full member privileges at ISOO Rio. Applications received after this date may be accepted as Collaborating Members instead.
March 1, 2026: Membership applications submitted after this date are not guaranteed approval in time for the conference.
